Baptisms (also called Christenings)
Baptisms are very special events - as those being baptised are given God's promises through the symbol of water. In baptism, children or adults are officially welcomed into the Family of God - the church.
If you live in our Parish or have a strong connection with St Bartholomew's, you are welcome to find out more about a baptism for yourself or your children. We take baptisms seriously (and joyfully!) and you may be asked to take part in Baptism Preparation. You may need to come to our Sunday services. (At the Baptism you will make promises to keep coming!)
